I see the moon and the moon sees me

The full moon is like that old friend that may go MIA for some time and then all of sudden, appears again only to lift your mood and make you feel comforted, calm and like they never left.

Some believe that when the moon is full it gives off a wave of energy that we can use to charge crystals by simply placing them in the moonlight or recharge ourselves through full moon meditation. Why not try it for yourself...

Sit comfortably and take a few deep breaths to clear your mind. Visualise a huge full moon hanging above you in the sky; its beautiful, bright light all around you, all over you and within you. Allow its positive energy to surround you, recharging you from within. Once you feel you have taken enough of the moon's energy, begin to think of your intention. What is your true heart's desire at this time? Focus on your intention or desire and see it there in front of you. Send the full moon's energy from inside yourself into your desire and surround it with your light. Visualise that you are both shining bright and hold this image in your mind for as long as you like.

The moons pull is strong; we know its gravitational attraction is what causes the ocean's waves, and as our bodies are made up of around 75% water, is it really a surprise that the moon affects us too? So whether you're new to meditation or not, try a little luna love on the next full moon (November 4th).
